Intellectual Property – Innovation – Improving Lives at Columbia College April 26th.
As the 2017 Co-chairs of World IP Day in Chicago, Molly Keelan of Ocean Tomo and her co-chair, Nikki Little from Fitch Even Tabin & Flannery gathered an exceptional group of speakers for the event: Intellectual Property – Innovation – Improving Lives at Columbia College. The speakers will dive into how the intellectual property system supports innovation by attracting investment, rewarding creators, encouraging them to develop their ideas, and ensuring that their new knowledge is freely available so that tomorrow’s innovators can build on today’s new technology.
Introductory remarks will be given by the Deputy Director of the Midwest Regional USPTO office, Dr. Cristal Sheppard, following by two panels of in-house legal experts from Groupon and Kraft Heinz, local entrepreneurs, university leaders and attorneys in Chicago’s leading law firms.
